The original SWISS MILITARY™ and CX SWISS MILITARY WATCH™ timepieces are manufactured in Switzerland for SWISS MILITARY USA INC. under license of Montres Charmex SA.

The history of SWISS MILITARY goes as far back as 1926. This was the year when Max Bürgin, the founder of Montres Charmex SA started his apprenticeship in one of the leading watch factories near Basel, Switzerland. His exceptional talents soon caught the attention of the management - he was promoted and eventually made head of the technical department. What he really wanted though was to have his own watch business, pursuing the traditional art of manufacturing state-of-the-art timepieces. His dream finally came true and later on in 1989 his son Manfred Bürgin, today's President together with his wife Kathleen joined the by then prospering company. 1999 their son Frank M. Bürgin, today's CEO followed and thus continued the family's tradition

Most of the designs are inspired by the divers watch genre and are constructed from high performance titanium. It is important to mention the company also holds the world record for water resistance in the category of automatic diving watches (20,000 FEET).

Warranty Information:
Watchpartners is the official CX Swiss Military distributor for Australia & New Zealand. As such, all CX Swiss Military watches sold by us are covered by a 2 year international warranty.

We suggest to service your mechanical movement every two years. Do bear in mind all our mechanical timepieces come with a lifelong warranty provided you have the watch serviced every two years. Please contact us for further information & servicing costs for your model.
